BIOGRAPHY

I am a South African born Artist with both British and Italian ancestry. I have been living in the UK since 2001. 

My art work is about the fleeting abstract qualities in nature, the chaos, disorder and the beauty within that.

I have a deep love of the natural world and know that I am a part of it. 

For me there is something special about the plants that occur naturally. They are often over looked by us and considered ‘weeds’ or ‘not pretty enough’ for our attention. It is similar to how society often treats people.
If you watch nature however, these flowers and plants are the ones that the insects and wildlife visit. They don’t go to the cultivated and 'perfect' plants or flowers.

Through my work I hope that the viewer views the natural world in a different light and that they engage more with nature. 

I studied at Richmond Community art college for a Foundation in Art and Wimbledon College of Art (University of Art) - Degree not completed. I am largely self taught and have been making art since I was a child.
